Meet the Animals
Friends, companions, and the best teachers of care a child could ask for.

The gentlest lessons are taught by living things.
Caring for animals asks a child to be gentle, patient and responsible, and rewards them with trust and affection in return. Our small working farm is woven right into the day: feeding, watering, gathering eggs, and simply sitting quietly with a creature who is glad you came.

Small hands, real work.
Animals are our friends, our therapists, our companions. The children are woven right into their daily care: collecting eggs, changing water, brushing bunnies, scratching pigs, raising chicks. They learn to treat animals with the care and respect they deserve. It is real work with real meaning, and it is one of the children’s favorite parts of the day.
